RHEM I SE is a point-and-click adventure viewed from a first-person perspective, with the environment shown through individual images covering a 360-degree view.
The journey begins aboard a rail car that moves through Rhem and gradually reveals the setting. After leaving it, players explore the land and solve puzzles to find four hidden fragments of a letter, then assemble them as the only possibility for returning home. Gameplay is non-linear, and the story is non-violent. This Special Edition adds puzzles and areas to the original game, along with a color picker and skip mode. It supports English, German, French, Italian, Polish, and Russian.
