Our take on RetroRealms Arcade
The cross-game feature depends on owning other RetroRealms games or DLC, so its extra access and abilities are tied to purchases beyond the Arcade itself. That choice makes the shared experience less self-contained than a single, complete game.
What is RetroRealms Arcade?
RetroRealms Arcade links select games and DLC in the RetroRealms series that are owned separately, unlocking additional access and abilities across them.
The connected games feature 16-bit pixel-art platforming with horror characters Michael Myers and Ash Williams, multiple levels, weapons, collectibles, power-ups, and hidden relics. Each game has its own levels and encounters based on Halloween and Ash vs Evil Dead. Players can compare scores on separate leaderboards for those two games. The games can also be played separately, and linking them creates additional ways to use characters and abilities across the series. The Arcade is part of the RetroRealms experience; games and DLC are sold separately.
