Our take on Retro
The three-mode structure may suggest three distinct game collections, but the corrupted arcade is a later version of the same five mini games. The main scope is therefore five activities presented through different modes, with the story serving as the route to the hardest content.
What is Retro?
Retro is a collection of five arcade mini games played through three modes.
Arcade mode provides access to the games, while story mode connects them through a conflict with a virus threatening the player's system. Completing the story unlocks the corrupted arcade, which contains harder versions of the same games. The activities include defending against zombies, protecting a bouncing ball from gunfire, navigating a submarine around naval mines, guarding a space station from asteroids, and fighting enemy aircraft. Each game presents a different survival or defense challenge, with the corrupted arcade adding a more demanding version of each activity for high-score attempts.
