Our take on RESEQUENCED
The open-world label may set expectations of one continuous setting, while the listed structure centers on 12 distinct environments, level tasks, challenges, and scattered collectibles. The emphasis is therefore as much on segmented activities as on open exploration.
What is RESEQUENCED?
Investigate the disappearance of Lux Hart’s parents in a 3D open-world adventure spanning 12 environments.
Lux uses four classes of DNA modifications—Incinerate, Freeze, Shock, and Invoke—alongside eight gun types. Weapon parts found in crates and looted from enemies improve six gun attributes, including damage, reload speed, and range. Leveling grants skill points for changes such as increased health and shorter DNA-mod cooldowns. More than 800 clothing and hair items let players alter Lux’s appearance. Levels contain tasks, challenges, almost 100 collectibles, documents, audio files, medkits, and shield energy packs. Locations include a nuclear testing facility, Chinese spacecraft, desert, caves, snowfields, and a post-apocalyptic town. Lux’s investigation connects her parents to the Redaction Commission and its use of alien technology.

RESEQUENCED compared to similar games
