Our take on Repurpose
Its focus on a large visual-novel story gives up moment-to-moment mechanical variety found in action or strategy games. The experience centers on reading, relationships, and narrative choices rather than combat or multiplayer systems.
What is Repurpose?
Repurpose is a dating sim set after death.
The player awakens in a Garden of Eden located in Limbo, where three possible destinations frame the story: completing trials for Heaven, embracing Hell, or remaining in Limbo. Gender selection includes cis, trans, and other identities, with interactions that vary according to the choice. The cast includes queer and LGBTQA+ characters. The visual-novel presentation contains 400K words, 60+ CGs, 100s of sprite variations, and dozens of backgrounds. Partial voice acting and a soundtrack accompany the story, which combines funny, dramatic, and touching moments with secrets beneath the surface.
