SimulationIs RealDol worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Players who enjoy anime-inspired fantasy stories with altered worlds
- Readers who prefer reluctant protagonists over traditional heroes
- Players interested in mysteries involving time travel and connections between worlds
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a straightforward heroic adventure may find the protagonist’s reluctance and withdrawal slow the premise
- Players who prefer grounded settings may not enjoy the magical-anime world and stone-replaced population
- Players looking primarily for clearly described combat or resource-management systems may find the available premise less focused on those elements
Our take on RealDol
The story trades a conventional heroic arc for a hesitant lead who initially wants to avoid the crisis. That choice gives the premise an outsider perspective, but it also places withdrawal and uncertainty ahead of immediate action.
What is RealDol?
RealDol follows a protagonist reincarnated as a minor character in a magical-girl anime familiar from his niece’s favorite show.
In this altered world, people have been replaced by stones, while the magical girl has withdrawn from her role and the final boss appears at the protagonist’s home. Hoping to return to his original world, the protagonist initially tries to avoid involvement and wait out the situation. A time traveler who does not exist in the original story then arrives with a proposal: save the world together.
He also knows the name of the protagonist’s niece, raising questions about the connection between the two worlds. The story centers on investigating this changed reality and deciding whether to take part in its rescue.
