Our take on Race Code
Players looking for multiplayer will hit the clearest wall: it is described as a future addition, while current play is offline. Anyone expecting open-world driving will also find that the large roads do not make this an open-world game.
What is Race Code?
Race Code is a driving game with roads modeled at nearly real-world scale across realistic and legendary locations.
It is not an open-world game. Current event types include sprint, circuit, time trial, and career races. Career achievements earn money that can be used to buy roads and cars. Day and night, changing weather, shortcuts, and breakable objects are part of the races. Players can choose between simulation and more forgiving driving physics, then adjust driving assists to affect handling or drifting. The game can be played offline. Xbox and PlayStation controllers and steering wheels are supported. The vendor says free roaming, traffic, and multiplayer are planned for future updates.
