R2V is an Early Access racing game set on Hong Kong roads, including hills, streets and highways.
Races depart from circuit formats: competitors battle on public roads, and a driver wins by pulling far enough ahead for their tail lights to disappear from the rival’s view. Routes include hill climbs and street tags. The game uses geospatial road data as a reference for its tracks. Early Access modes include training missions on Route Twisk and Tolo Harbour, Sector Tutorial for unlocking layouts and cars, and Free Play for choosing track and car combinations. Players can set up, modify and customize their vehicles. The developers state that maps will expand beyond Hong Kong in future updates.
