Our take on Protect Me
The two-character control scheme gives the game a cooperative angle, but it also divides attention between movement and defense. Its focus on one clearing and recurring raids keeps the structure narrow rather than presenting a broader adventure.
What is Protect Me?
Protect Me is a short adventure about a healer and a strong companion defending a plant-filled clearing from recurring attacks by armored ravens.
The wizard hides behind the defender while using colored potions to change the fight: red strengthens attacks against bosses, blue targets ravens in ice armor, green links the heroes with a destructive beam, and yellow pushes enemies away. Movement uses keyboard direction keys for the sorcerer, while the defender follows mouse-cursor control. This control setup allows the game to be played with friends, with each person handling one character. Battles focus on choosing potion effects and protecting the healer during enemy raids.
How Protect Me plays
- 01Colored potion effects
- Red, blue, green, and yellow mixtures provide different combat effects against bosses, armored ravens, groups, and approaching enemies.
- 02Two-character control
- Keyboard movement controls the wizard while the defender is directed with the mouse cursor.
- 03Clearing defense
- The pair faces repeated attacks from ravens equipped with swords and armor.
