Our take on Prominence
The focus on investigation and story-linked puzzles leaves little room for combat or broader action systems. The first-person, point-and-click structure also centers progress on examining evidence, operating computers, and solving set-piece challenges.
What is Prominence?
Prominence is a first-person point-and-click adventure about a lone explorer investigating a failed attempt to establish a new home for the Letarri people.
Progress combines puzzles connected to the narrative with evidence gathered from messages, recordings, surroundings, and a damaged computer. A text-based interface provides access to computer subsystems, while new skills and abilities become available during the journey. Holographic archives contain information about the mission, its crew, and the setting. The game presents rendered environments with animated effects and includes an original soundtrack containing over 40 minutes of music.
