What is Primal Rift?
Primal Rift is a single-player, turn-based role-playing game located inside a research complex overtaken by waters from a prehistoric lake.
The player takes the role of Craig O'Dell, who belongs to a secret organization assigned to extract the scientist capable of operating the site's temporal gateway. Exploration centers on one expansive dungeon whose areas connect, rather than multiple towns paired with separate dungeons. Battles feature knives, submachine guns, rifles, and other weapons, while traversal includes climbing, swimming, and jumping. The narrative presents fatal-stakes choices and concealed discoveries, and a New Game Plus option is included.
