Rather than centering progression on exploration or character development, this shoot-'em-up changes the arcade format through in-battle weapon evolution. The player adapts the arsenal while moving through side-scrolling combat and confronting screen-filling bosses.
What is Power-Up?
Power-Up is a retro-style side-scrolling shoot-'em-up built around arcade combat and weapon progression.
The player pilots the experimental Weapon-F fighter through the wreckage of humanity’s failed escape attempt while attacking the reptilian fleet that destroyed Earth. Weapons can be upgraded and transformed during battles, with multiple options supporting tactical loadouts. Combat features challenging enemy formations and bosses that fill the screen.
