Our take on Power & Revolution
The broad range of political and economic controls comes with a trade-off: play requires attention to many interconnected areas rather than focusing on a single governing task.
What is Power & Revolution?
Play as the head of state of one or several countries, or lead a legal or illegal opposition group pursuing power through elections, protests, or force.
As a national leader, manage taxation, budgets, economic activity, foreign affairs, defense, health, education, transport, and other areas. Propose legislation for parliamentary votes and construct infrastructure on the world map. Conflict scenarios include occupied territories, besieged cities, military units, and detailed urban battles involving locations such as parliaments and presidential palaces.
The simulation covers 175 playable countries, with more than 600 data elements per country changing in real time. More than twenty scenarios present different political and conflict situations. Single-player play includes a mode for controlling several countries simultaneously, an interactive tutorial, and a quiz with more than 3,000 questions.
