- Players who enjoy timing key presses against circles moving at different speeds
- Music-game players looking for a short set of stages that can be replayed from the start
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players who want a long campaign may find the 6-stage set too short.
- Those seeking quick clears may hit a wall around stage 2, where stages can take multiple attempts.
- Players who want custom beatmaps or online multiplayer may prefer a rhythm game with those features.
Our take on Polyrhythm Master
Players who expect to clear each stage in one pass may hit a wall around stage 2, where the patterns can take repeated attempts. The game also has only 6 stages, so anyone looking for a long sequence of new levels may run out of material quickly.
What is Polyrhythm Master?
Polyrhythm Master is a music game built around moving circles that form changing rhythmic patterns.
Press any key while two or more circles overlap to restore a circle’s life; pressing during a gap reduces it, and its life also drains over time. A stage ends when any circle runs out of life. The circles can move at different speeds and overlap with one another, so patterns become more involved even when the stationary sequence is simple. The game has 6 stages and 6 original songs, with every stage available to select from the start. Later stages can take more than one attempt to clear, and sound delay can be adjusted.
How Polyrhythm Master plays
- 01Circle overlap timing
- Key presses during overlaps restore life, while presses between overlaps reduce it.
- 02Independent circle speeds
- Moving circles travel at different rates and can overlap, building layered rhythmic patterns.
- 03Stage selection
- All 6 stages can be chosen from the beginning.
- 04Sound delay adjustment
- An adjustment for audio delay is included.
Polyrhythm Master compared to similar games
