Our take on Please Be Happy
The focus on reading, character relationships, and route selection leaves little room for action-oriented play. Its long script also favors sustained narrative reading over brief, self-contained sessions.
What is Please Be Happy?
Follow Miho, a fox who became more human, as she searches for the traveler who once showed her kindness.
Her journey takes her to Wellington, a fictional floating-island version of New Zealand, where she meets Juliet, a vampire who runs a library, and Aspen, a human aspiring author. The story explores Miho’s attempts to understand human culture, society, and kindness after years of surviving as a thief. This visual novel offers two routes, with two happy endings for each, alongside more than 220,000 words, full English voice acting, character art and CGs, and an original soundtrack. The setting combines slice-of-life scenes with Miho’s personal search.
