Our take on PixelJunk™ Monsters Ultimate
Its tower-focused structure limits direct control over combat: success centers on defensive placement, tower selection, and resource spending rather than personally fighting through each attack.
What is PixelJunk™ Monsters Ultimate?
Protect Tikiman’s offspring from successive monster attacks by positioning weapon towers around each landscape.
Treasure collected during play funds additional towers and expands the available arsenal, which includes arrow, cannon, anti-air, ice, laser, fire, Tesla, and mortar types, along with special power-ups. The game offers a single-player campaign, local co-op, online co-op, and extra challenges. Tikiman travels through three islands containing 47 environments, while Tum-Tum island generates levels randomly for repeated play. Monsters attack from the ground and air, requiring different defensive placements. The Steam release also includes 52 achievements in total, trading cards, badges, and unlockable concept art, music videos, and soundtracks.
