Our take on Peregrin
The defining mechanic is temporary possession: Abi takes control of creatures and applies their individual abilities to puzzles and battles.
What is Peregrin?
Peregrin is a story puzzle game set among the ruins of a lost civilisation.
Players control Abi, who leaves her scavenger tribe to travel through the wastelands in pursuit of a way to restore the fallen world. Her arcane powers let her take temporary control of creatures, from animals to hostile guardians, and use their abilities to solve puzzles and survive battles. The story combines myth, fantasy and science fiction, with mysterious monoliths and artefacts revealing details about the lands. The game has 5 chapters and over 60 scenes, with English voice acting, a custom-composed score and controller support. Its visual style draws inspiration from science-fiction artists John Harris and Moebius.
