Our take on Pegasus-5: Gone Astray
Morale functions as the central progression constraint: building trust with the crew raises the resource required to complete more technical tasks.
What is Pegasus-5: Gone Astray?
Play as Edan Vargas, a new crew member on the Pegasus-5 trade ship after its systems fail and the vessel becomes lost in space.
The journey combines branching story decisions, crew relationships, friendship and possible romance with female crew members. Dialogue and interactions respond to four attributes: Medicine, Engineering, Athletics, and Charisma. Specialising in some skills or spreading them across all four changes available options. Building trust raises morale, which is needed for more technical tasks. Stops at unfamiliar locations, environmental hazards, and organised gangs add complications, while decisions influence events, crew attitudes, and which characters survive.
