Our take on Pal Up!
The defining structure is an ascent through hazardous worlds, where wall jumps and bounces share equal importance with Souls-like combat and route shortcuts.
What is Pal Up!?
Pal Up!
follows Kyoko, a spirit climbing toward heaven to save her people. Progress combines vertical platforming with jumps and wall bounces across environments including winter and desert areas. Enemies attack with arrows and other projectiles, while close combat uses a katana, target locking, dodging, rolling and blocking. Exploration reveals auxiliary items, and shortcuts reduce the distance after a fall. Campfires restore health and resources and provide teleportation to other areas. The game presents a Souls-like structure and lets players pursue faster ascents, then compare results with friends and other players.
How Pal Up! plays
