Our take on Pact of Steel
The defining structure is a World War II tower-defense format with mobile units: armies are built around a base, repositioned during attacks, and adjusted map by map rather than controlled as a broad real-time war simulation.
What is Pact of Steel?
Pact of Steel combines World War II tower defense with a smaller real-time strategy component.
Build an army to protect a base, strengthen units through progression, and adjust the available roster for each map. The game includes more than 30 units from Allied and Axis forces, including tanks and infantry, along with campaigns focused on American and British forces or Germany and Italy. Maps span multiple war theaters, while four difficulty settings provide different challenges. Most units can move and reposition during battles, and groups of three can fight together. Units also use pathfinding and can fire while moving. Procedural endless waves, customizable unit selections, and speed controls at 1x, 2x, and 3x shape repeated sessions.
