Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a primarily contemplative or exploration-led experience may find the combat-focused structure too active.
- Those wanting extensive replay variation may find the story-led escape structure less suitable than a repeatable or procedurally varied game.
- Players without Oculus Rift or HTC Vive hardware are not the intended audience.
Our take on OVERTURN
The defining structure is a first-person VR escape from a futuristic laboratory, combining free-movement combat with puzzles and a narrated mystery surrounding the protagonist's lost identity.
What is OVERTURN?
OVERTURN is a first-person VR action-puzzle adventure set in a futuristic laboratory.
The player begins without memories and investigates the facility while seeking a way out and uncovering the story behind the imprisonment. Combat supports free movement and uses beam rifles, swords, and bare-fist attacks against enemies and large bosses. Magi, a mysterious companion, provides abilities such as charged beam shots, time manipulation, temporary shielding, health recovery, grenades, and limited battle assistance. The game includes full character narration and unlockable in-game illustrations from community artists. It was developed for Oculus Rift and HTC Vive. A multiplayer PvP arena for up to 6 players is listed as a coming-soon plan.
