Our take on Out of the Cube
The presentation frames the game as a broad challenge, but its scope is a compact set of 25 stages built around three cube behaviors. Advanced mode adds a cube limit, while casual mode removes that restriction, so the difficulty depends partly on how much constraint the player chooses.
What is Out of the Cube?
Out of the Cube is a platform-puzzle game in which Pinkube must collect every coin and reach a portal at the end of each map.
Players position cubes and shoot them to trigger movement effects. Green cubes teleport Pinkube to the cube when hit. Blue cubes appear beneath Pinkube and carry the character to their location. Orange cubes pull Pinkube toward them and exchange positions with the character. The game contains 25 stages and offers two difficulty settings. Casual mode allows unlimited cube placement, while advanced mode restricts the number of cubes available. Players can also attempt to complete stages using fewer cubes. The game includes achievements to collect.
