After the player shares this with the friend at school, the friend devises a plan to make it happen, with disastrous results. The visual novel includes four main routes and a secret route; each route takes 1. 5–2 hours to complete and includes 2–4 minigames. These can involve point-and-click play, clicking, or rock-paper-scissors, alongside puzzles tied to finding love. The apparent premise of choosing routes and collecting hearts is undercut: the game says those choices are not genuine. Content warnings include suicide, depression, graphic blood and gore, and violence.
