What is Othello 2018?
Othello 2018 is a two-person strategy title using an 8-by-8 grid.
Each participant places a reversible piece, showing their assigned side. Any opposing pieces enclosed along a row, column, or diagonal by the new piece and a matching piece change sides. Clear markers show available placements. When no legal placement exists, the inactive participant yields the turn. Play stops once neither side has a move, and victory goes to whoever displays the greater number of pieces in their color. Solo play uses a computer opponent, while two people may share one computer.
