Our take on Orion13
The store presentation gives equal weight to the story escape and Arena competition, but the two modes serve different purposes: one is a scripted adventure, while the other centers on repeated waves and leaderboard survival. That distinction matters when judging the game's overall scope.
What is Orion13?
Orion13 is a VR hack-and-slash adventure starring a combat robot whose implanted memories lead her to question her identity.
The story moves through a futuristic robot society, with sword fights, stuns, shields, environmental hazards, minefields, reactor rooms, puzzles, and a spaceship escape. Open locomotion supports seated and standing play. An interactive inventory and full-body first-person inverse kinematics contribute to the VR presentation. Completing the story adds to the adventure. Arena Mode pits players against endless robot waves and includes an online leaderboard updated in real time. Hard Mode adds a higher challenge. The game supports Oculus, Vive, Index, and Windows Mixed Reality headsets.
