Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a combat-only experience may find the visual-novel storytelling and dialogue central to the game.
- Players who want every consequence to be immediately clear may hit a wall when some decisions only show their effects later.
- Players looking for multiplayer combat may not find it here; the described battles use a player-commanded fleet.
Our take on Omni Link
Players who expect every decision to produce an immediate, visible result may hit a wall when some consequences emerge later, after a route or event has changed. Those looking for continuous combat may also find the visual-novel structure and dialogue a substantial part of the experience.
What is Omni Link?
Omni Link blends visual-novel narrative, space exploration, live tactical battles, and choices with consequences for the plot and play.
Following the prologue, a Zaos Corporation assignment brings players into contact with an alien craft and Ectype D-7, an artificial intelligence that can draw power from other vessels and reproduce them. Captured ships may join the fleet and be called into combat, while hidden vessels offer different abilities. Conversations and actions can reshape later exchanges, reveal alternate narrative routes, and trigger new events in space; some outcomes emerge only afterward.
The central threat, the Virus, is associated with vanishing suns and planets that are dying. Players may confront it at full difficulty or choose an easier setting. Hand-drawn visuals, music, and manga-inspired presentations of important scenes support the story.
How Omni Link plays
