Our take on Olson's Boxing Challenge
The arcade format trades long-term boxing structure for short matches built around distinct rules. Players looking for a career, extensive fighter progression, or a simulation-focused approach may find that narrow design limiting.
What is Olson's Boxing Challenge?
Olson's Boxing Challenge is a top-down fighting game with seven modes, single-player play, an endless challenge option, and same-screen local multiplayer.
Barebones focuses on punching quickly and blocking at the right time. Arcade puts power-ups and hazards in the ring, including stamina boosts, bear traps, health boosts, and fireballs. Ice Skates increases movement speed and removes deceleration. Flame Thrower gives punches the ability to launch fireballs, while Aldo K. O. ends a match after one solid punch. Chaos combines the modes' rules. Play with keyboard or controller input, alone or with friends sharing a screen. The developer says additional game modes are planned for future support.
