Ocean Rift departs from common adventure structures by making habitat visits and wildlife observation the central activity. It adds narrated animal information to this exploration format, treating the underwater environment and its inhabitants as the main content rather than framing the experience around a conventional quest structure.
What is Ocean Rift?
Ocean Rift offers a virtual-reality safari beneath the surface, where visitors investigate underwater settings and watch marine life.
Its 12 habitats include coral reef areas, mangrove wetlands, wreck sites, the deep ocean, polar seas, and Atlantis. The animals range from cetaceans and sharks to turtles, rays, manatees, sea snakes, sea lions, and creatures representing extinct prehistoric reptiles. Education mode provides over 40 narrated facts to discover during exploration. A procedural animation system varies the featured animals’ movements. Dolphins may spin, bend, or swim through hoops using changing routines, giving separate visits differing displays of behavior.
