What is Nyanroo The Supercat?
Nyanroo is a retro-styled platformer in which a sentient enchanted cloth appoints a new champion to oppose Barkrow and his pack of world-conquering dogs.
Across 14 stages, players collect Power Yarns that grant varied abilities, then use attacks and leaps to overcome enemies and 7 bosses. The adventure follows Barkrow’s survival after a battle involving the former hero, Tornado Ted, leading him to seek revenge. Its music combines influences from Sega Genesis soundtracks with more recent touches. Karl and Will Brueggemann, the duo behind The Super Marcato Bros. , composed the score.
