Nyanco Dream is a fan-made action game based on the Touhou Project worldview.
Nyanco travels to another world with her sword-spirit partner after training with anime girls, then sets out to save her own world. The journey leads through a magical gate into an unknown destination. The game features Touhou-inspired art and themes, parodies of familiar Touhou characters, and boss battles using bullet-hell patterns. Its introduction presents a dreamlike question about whether Nyanco is a cat dreaming of being a butterfly or a butterfly dreaming of being Nyanco. The game was made with RPG Maker VX Ace and the XAS Action RPG Script. It is fictional and separate from the original Touhou Project.
