Our take on Nuumonsters
The defining choice is the compact creature-collecting format: more than 70 monsters, trainer battles, and area unlocks are arranged into a brief RPG journey rather than an expansive saga.
What is Nuumonsters?
Nuumonsters is a short, retro-style creature-collecting RPG set in the Hana region.
Choose Yana or Yasaka, travel through routes and towns, catch and train more than 70 creatures, and build teams around their available moves. Battles against Elite Trainers open access to additional areas, giving progression a clear route through the region. The game was remade from scratch in 2026 while retaining much of the original's simplicity. The remake and the preserved Nuumonsters Classic are selectable through Steam launch options, but saves from Classic cannot continue in the remake. The experience focuses on charm and a breezy adventure rather than a deep story or expansive RPG structure.
