Our take on Nogalious
Rather than centering on role-playing progression or open-ended exploration, the game returns to 2D platforming built around worlds, dungeons, puzzles, weapons, and boss encounters.
What is Nogalious?
Nogalious is a pixel-art action platformer set in a medieval world.
It follows Nogalious, a former knight of Rusadir, as he travels through five worlds and dungeons to rescue his daughter Mariet from Darama. The game combines 2D platforming with puzzles, combat, objects, and weapons. Four bosses—Zovach, Grotton, Harmor, and Lordaf—command the hostile forces opposing Nogalious. The Steam version brings an 8-bit-inspired style associated with earlier releases on MSX, Spectrum, Amstrad, and Commodore 64, and adds more than 100 achievements. It is the first entry in a trilogy about Nogalious, Mariet, and Darama.
