Our take on No Delivery
The premise foregrounds an apparently dull night job, but the actual scope includes RPG combat, generated dungeons, and finances for a haunted restaurant. That contrast may understate how far the game moves beyond ordinary pizzeria simulation.
What is No Delivery?
No Delivery blends a procedurally generated CRPG with running a pizzeria.
The player works overnight at a deteriorating neighborhood restaurant marked by rumors, a questionable past, and unresolved missing-person investigations. Play involves alternating-turn role-playing battles, randomly formed dungeon areas, and handling the finances of an establishment haunted by supernatural activity. What appears to be an uneventful shift can involve duties far outside normal restaurant work. Corporate-style vocabulary is also part of the game’s presentation. Warnings include flashing or rapidly pulsing visual effects, graphic violence, harm to animals, some profanity, and sexualized themes.
How No Delivery plays
- 01Turn-Based Combat
- Battles form part of the RPG structure and are presented as challenging.
- 02Procedural Dungeons
- Dungeon layouts are generated procedurally rather than fixed.
- 03Restaurant Finances
- The management layer covers money matters within a haunted pizzeria.
- 04Night-Shift Setting
- The player works as a new employee during the pizzeria's night shift.
No Delivery compared to similar games
No Delivery combines turn-based RPG combat, generated dungeons, and haunted-restaurant finances, while Back to the Dawn centers on survival, investigation, and escape from a prison. Planescape: Torment: Enhanced Edition emphasizes an unconventional story, characters, and exploration of a dangerous city rather than procedural pizzeria management.
