Our take on Nexuiz
The mutator system trades consistency for variety: match rules and physics can change substantially, which makes repeated sessions less predictable than a fixed-rules arena shooter.
What is Nexuiz?
Nexuiz is an arena first-person shooter built around fast competitive matches.
Players fight across nine arenas and can change match rules and physics through more than 100 dynamic mutators, including jetpacks, low gravity, and oversized-head effects. Solo play provides bot opponents for practice, while online matches support up to 32 players. The game includes a weapon set, established match types, stat tracking, medals, and leaderboards. Its setting follows the Kavussari and Forsellians, whose warriors compete in televised arena combat during a fragile truce. The free STUPID mode and Duel Mode DLC are included.
