Our take on Neurowake
Neurowake departs from the slower movement often associated with VR shooters by using chessboard-style teleportation. Its structure centers on selecting a hero and fighting online for one of two factions across three match modes, rather than following a solo campaign.
What is Neurowake?
Neurowake is a team-based first-person shooter made exclusively for VR.
Players choose from five available heroes and fight for either the UWC or the resistance in online battles. Each hero has distinct weapons and abilities, including dual shotguns, a sniper rifle, X-Vision, and Ghost Cloak. Movement uses a chessboard-style teleportation system, which the vendor says supports a faster pace than is common in VR shooters. The game offers Free-for-all, Team Death Match, and Siege modes. Matches take place in environments ranging from sewers to an Amazon jungle. Its story is set after the Awakening, an event that fractured the world and led to conflict between opposing factions.
