Our take on Nebulock
Rather than building its progression around exploration or a broad campaign, Nebulock centers each stage on dismantling a block-based boss, with earlier levels available for resource gathering before another attempt.
What is Nebulock?
Nebulock is a short bullet-hell action game focused on spaceship battles against bosses assembled from blocks.
Across 30 levels, each boss has armor, cannons, projectiles, and a core to destroy. Defeated blocks release resources that can be spent on more than 80 ship upgrades. Later encounters increase the strength of their blocks and the damage dealt by their projectiles, creating a progression loop based on risk and rewards. If a boss proves too difficult, earlier levels can be replayed to gather resources before another attempt. The game uses twin-stick shooter controls, offers three difficulty modes, and supports mouse and keyboard as well as gamepads.
How Nebulock plays

- The game provides three settings for adjusting the challenge.
- 04Replayable earlier levels

- 05Gamepad support
- Controls are available through a gamepad in addition to mouse and keyboard.
Nebulock compared to similar games
Nebulock focuses on bullet-hell spaceship battles against bosses built from blocks, with ship upgrades funded by resources from destroyed blocks. Hentai Vs Furries is a third-person shooter with quests, guns, skins, emotes, and multiple camera angles, while Abyssus centers on multiplayer shooting through hand-crafted levels and weapon refitting. Their combat structures and progression systems therefore differ from Nebulock's boss-focused upgrade loop.
