Our take on Nancy Drew®: Secret of the Old Clock
Players looking for combat will likely bounce off at the investigation loop, where progress centers on searching locations, questioning suspects, and solving puzzles. The driving and miniature-golf activities add variety, but do not replace the first-person point-and-click structure.
What is Nancy Drew®: Secret of the Old Clock?
Set in 1930, this first-person, point-and-click adventure casts the player as Nancy Drew.
After a fiery explosion at the Lilac Inn, its owner, Emily Crandall, faces a serious personal crisis. A will left by an eccentric millionaire may provide a way forward, leading Nancy into an investigation involving a desperate criminal. Players explore environments for clues, question suspects, and solve puzzles and mini-games. Nancy can drive a blue roadster while traveling between locations, and the game includes miniature golf. Its story is based on the first Nancy Drew book.
