Our take on Mystic Strife
The bounce point comes before a match starts for solo players: there is no single-player content. Players also need a group available in person or through Steam Remote Play, making the multiplayer requirement the central access point to the game.
What is Mystic Strife?
Mystic Strife is a frantic platform-based deathmatch for as many as eight friends.
Six fighters bring distinct abilities: the Ranger shoots three arrows that can be retrieved, the Wizard launches fireballs and projects a distant magic beam, and the Necromancer raises skeletons that remain between rounds. The Rogue uses a hookshot to traverse arenas and draw enemies nearer. The Engineer carries a reloadable musket and constructs turrets that can be repaired, while the Dragoon launches upward and causes a landing shockwave. Well-timed attacks can send physical projectiles back, and pickups include shields and speed boosts. Nine stages are playable. Solo play is unavailable; matches need local friends or Steam Remote Play.
