Players fight with swords and shields, collect food and weapons from defeated enemies, and gain experience to raise health, attack, and defense. Four opposed camps—human, beast, demon, and plant—can be used tactically by drawing mutants toward hostile groups. The world alternates between 15 minutes of daylight and 5 minutes of night, when fast night beasts appear and pursue the player. A shop exchanges food and weapons for gold and sells equipment, mechs, resurrection cards, and a dragon mount. The dragon can fly to other planets, although night beasts can force a landing within the planet's gravitational sphere.
