The game gives up real-time movement and broad exploration to focus on turn-based puzzle positioning. After provoking a moose, the player has only one turn to escape its charge, making route planning central to each encounter rather than quick reactions or free-form traversal.
What is Mooselutions?
Mooselutions is a turn-based Sokoban-style puzzle game set in a forest.
Players control a lost lumberjack, navigate around moose, and provoke their charges to direct where they go. Moose can be sent toward other moose, while trees and pushed blocks provide ways to hide or get past them. Rail carts offer another way to move moose around. After angering a moose, the player has one turn to escape its charge. The puzzles are handcrafted, and new areas unlock as progress continues. Achievements cover manipulating moose and being targeted by them.
