Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a serious or grounded RPG tone may find the flirtatious character premise and moe presentation unsuitable
- Players who prefer broad exploration or varied combat systems may find the dungeon-focused party structure repetitive
- Players looking for a story-driven RPG centered on a single protagonist may not want a roster of 50 recruitable characters
- Players unwilling to engage with relationship events and the Bumping Scratch purification activity may find the progression structure restrictive
Our take on Moero Chronicle
The focus on recruiting and developing 50 Monster Girls gives party composition and relationships a central role, but narrows the experience for players seeking a conventional dungeon RPG without character-focused events or the Bumping Scratch activity.
What is Moero Chronicle?
Moero Chronicle is a dungeon RPG about Io, a young man sent to Monstopia after Monster Girls begin causing destruction.
The game includes 50 recruitable Monster Girls, each with distinct skills and traits. Players form a five-member party and combine traits to produce effects such as post-battle recovery or increased attack. Relationships develop through special events, gifts, and home improvements, which raise the characters’ powers and abilities. Battles are also tied to recruitment, since Monster Girls must first be worn out in combat. A purification activity called “Bumping Scratch” uses touch, rubbing, poking, and picking to locate weaknesses and restore the characters to their senses.
