What is Mission 1985?
Mission 1985 is a retro-style run-and-gun action game inspired by arcade and 16-bit console games from the mid-1980s.
Players can fight alone or with another player while attempting to defeat General Hector and rescue captured soldiers. The campaign contains 11 levels: 9 presented in 2D and 2 using 3D scaling in the style of Space Harrier. Combat includes firearms, grenades, bosses, tanks, helicopters, and planes. Levels also contain hazards such as mines and holes, along with environmental conditions including ice and lava. Players can improve their firepower as they progress through the campaign.
