Our take on Miseria
The descent and reward framing suggests an expansive dark-fantasy journey, but the core play is an automatic combat loop. Character growth, equipment work, and Reborn resets provide progression, while direct battle control is largely absent.
What is Miseria?
Lead a party of damned souls through a dark fantasy abyss that descends as progression continues.
Combat runs automatically while characters attack enemies, charge mana, and use abilities. Battles provide experience for improving character statistics and gold for upgrading or forging equipment at the blacksmith. Greater depths bring stronger danger and larger rewards. The Reborn system resets progress in exchange for permanent upgrades, creating a repeated cycle of descent, defeat, and advancement. Progress depends on improving the party and equipment, then pushing farther into the depths on subsequent runs. The game combines idle progression, role-playing elements, automatic battles, equipment management, and prestige-based resets.
How Miseria plays
- 01Automatic Combat
- The party attacks enemies on its own while mana charges and abilities are released during battles.
- 02Character Progression
- Combat experience raises character statistics as the party advances.
- 03Equipment Forging
- Gold earned from defeated monsters can be spent at the blacksmith on equipment upgrades and new gear.
- 04Reborn Resets
- Progress can be restarted to obtain permanent improvements for later descents.
