Our take on Mirage Feathers
The character-focused presentation receives substantial attention, but the playable structure centers on rail-shooter encounters. The surrounding story may suggest a broader adventure, while the described systems focus on aiming, weapon selection, and enemy waves.
What is Mirage Feathers?
Mirage Feathers is an anime-themed pseudo-3D rail shooter starring Notari, a cybernetic air-superiority fighter.
Combat sends enemy aircraft in successive waves, with infinite ammunition and an automatic lock-on system that homes attacks toward targets passing the crosshair. As the story advances, Luciolla obtains weapon specifications from stronger enemies, adding main-weapon choices with different effects. Overdrive releases a large attack and grants upgraded weapon performance while active. Story Mode combines scripted stages with text dialogue and character artwork, while Endless Mode provides the full arsenal and randomly generated waves that become progressively harder. The game supports controller and mouse-and-keyboard input, with a mouse option available through the settings.
How Mirage Feathers plays
- 01Automatic Target Lock
- Targets crossing the aiming reticle are selected automatically, after which attacks track them.
- 02Alternative Main Weapons
- Luciolla collects specifications from stronger foes during the story, opening weapons with different effects.
- 03Overdrive Attack
- The special mode can destroy everything in view and grants upgraded weapon performance while active.
- 04Two Game Modes
- Story Mode uses authored stages and dialogue, while Endless Mode generates increasingly difficult enemy waves.
- 05Input Options
- Play is available with a controller or mouse and keyboard, with mouse controls configurable in the options.
Mirage Feathers compared to similar games
Mirage Feathers focuses on anime-styled pseudo-3D rail-shooter combat with automatic targeting, authored story stages, and an endless wave mode. Hentai Vs Furries is a third-person shooter with multiple camera angles, quests for skins, emotes, and a main mode plus a separate "Pleasure" mode, so its listed scope centers on character-viewpoint combat and cosmetic progression rather than rail-based aircraft battles.
