Our take on Minimal Maze
The game departs from looser puzzle formats by making the move count part of every level’s requirement. Solving a stage means finding its one correct combination and matching the specified number of moves, rather than simply reaching a completed arrangement.
What is Minimal Maze?
Minimal Maze presents geometric visual puzzles in which pieces must be joined across blocks of contrasting colors.
Mouse clicks rotate the pieces in opposite directions, depending on the button used. Every stage has a single valid arrangement and a fixed move count. Players must solve each puzzle using precisely that number of turns. The challenges grow harder from one stage to the next, while progression requires completing each level within its specified move total.
How Minimal Maze plays
- 01Exact move counts
- Every level requires completion in its specified number of moves.
- 02Mouse rotation controls
- The left and right mouse buttons rotate pieces in opposite directions.
- 03Color-block connections
- The objective is to unite all pieces between blocks of different colors.
- 04Increasing difficulty
- The levels become more difficult as the game progresses.
Minimal Maze compared to similar games
