Our take on Metal Heads
The page gives substantial space to planned additions such as more than 50 mini-games, new maps, customization, and a board-game creator. The currently available scope is narrower: 20 mini-games, while several highlighted expansions remain future plans.
What is Metal Heads?
Metal Heads is a multiplayer party game built around 20 currently available mini-games inspired by older 3D platformers.
Modes include running, jumping, dodging, memory challenges, alternate formats, survival, and chaos variants. Up to 8 players can compete locally or online, including couch-versus-couch play, while solo play is also available. Its board-game mode uses a movement wheel, manually controlled routes, collectibles, shortcuts, shops, traps, and customizable rules. The winner can enter a one-versus-all boss battle, controlling a boss against the other players. The game includes original metal music, with separate tracks for each mini-game and additional mode variations. The developer has stated plans for more mini-games, maps, customization, and a board-game creator.
