The focused Sudoku format keeps the rules and interface restrained, but it also limits variety to number-placement puzzles. The four modes add different structures and difficulty curves rather than changing the underlying activity.
What is Meta Sudoku?
Meta Sudoku is a minimalist number puzzle built around a 9×9 grid.
Fill each row, column, and 3×3 section with the numbers 1 through 9 without repeats. Classic Mode has six difficulty levels with 40 stages per level. Pack Mode has three levels with 25 stages each and patterned number layouts. Endless Mode offers six difficulty levels with a newly selected puzzle each time. Ultimate Mode contains three especially demanding puzzles. The game includes multiple color themes, ambient music, undo and redo, number hints, shortcut keys, and saved progress when exiting mid-puzzle. Steam features include cloud saves and simple achievements. English, Russian, Chinese, French, and other language options are supported.
