Our take on MEMORIAPOLIS
The organic-growth model gives up precise grid control: districts develop around placement and citizen choices rather than allowing every part of the city to be arranged on a fixed layout.
What is MEMORIAPOLIS?
Build a city through five historical ages: Antiquity, the Middle Ages, the Renaissance, the Age of Enlightenment, and the Industrial Revolution.
Buildings are placed without a rigid grid, while districts expand according to choices and citizens. Manage resources, respond to factions with distinct personalities and demands, negotiate proposals, and decide which groups to favor. The Dynastic House develops alongside the city, while the dynasty pursues a final Wonder: the Eiffel Tower, Neuschwanstein Castle, or the Statue of Liberty. Difficulty settings change objectives, faction pressure, and resource balance. Different maps, factions, and final Wonders shape separate playthroughs, and monuments such as the Library of Alexandria and Palace of Versailles can be constructed.
