Our take on Megabyte Punch
The modular fighter system adds variety through collected parts, but it focuses play on building one character rather than selecting from a broad roster. The six-world structure also keeps the campaign compact, while multiplayer is limited to local matches.
What is Megabyte Punch?
Megabyte Punch combines beat ’em up combat with fighter customization.
Across six electro-themed worlds, each containing three stages and a boss fight, the character battles creatures and collects their parts. Each part grants powers or bonuses, including shooting with gun arms or attacking with hips. Collected parts can be combined into different fighter builds. The story follows the defense of a village’s Heartcore against the Valk Empire and the Khoteps. A tournament offers rare parts, while destructible arenas support local co-op and versus play for up to four players. The game also includes stylized graphics and an electro soundtrack.
