What is Mask Around?
Mask Around is a 2D roguelite shooter platformer set inside the former facility of the Astralis Foundation.
Combat combines melee attacks, shooting, jumping, and flying, including punches from a gigantic hand emerging from the backpack. Yellow juice functions as a resource: it can boost movement abilities or be exchanged for weapons and artefacts. Runs include creepy enemies, hidden Astralis secrets, temporary stat-boosting drinks, and masks with powers that remain available across runs. The arsenal includes sniper rifles, shotguns, and more unusual weapons. Items can alter movement or enemy deaths, such as boots that enable skywalking and a trigger that causes corpses to explode. Backpack skins provide cosmetic customization.
